How funds will be issued:
- Households currently enrolled in SNAP should receive benefits on their existing SNAP EBT card.
- Households not currently enrolled in SNAP should receive a SUN Bucks card in the mail.
How to replace your SUN Bucks card: Contact Iowa EBT customer service at (800) 359-5802.
Sign up for updates: Application will be available in early June. Fill out this form to receive updates from Iowa HHS.
Application Deadline: August 14, 2026
Date funds expected:
- Benefits for automatically eligible children should be issued no later than early June 2026.
- Benefits for newly applied children should be issued as they are processed.
